 They
run small! I normally take a size 6, and I'd seen
conflicting information on different dance shoe websites
about this shoe's fit, so I ordered both the 6 and 6.5.
The 6 was WAY too small, and the 6.5 was also much
tighter than expected! I replaced the insole - the shoe
comes with its own full insole - with my own 3/4
orthotics, and that helped, since the tightness was
mostly in the toe box, but the shoe still feels tight
overall. I'm still undecided about whether to keep them
-- the shoe looks quite shoddily made, with exposed glue
and nails. The "padded" heel counter at the
back is also stiff and sits lower on my foot than most
other tap shoes, so it digs in. I don't know whether
that will break in or not...
